We are currently looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Document Controller.

Responsibilities:

– Develop and maintain a system for organizing, storing, and managing all project documentation, such as drawings, specifications, contracts, and reports

– Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure timely and accurate document management throughout the project lifecycle

– Monitor and track the status of documents, including revisions, approvals, and distribution

– Ensure all documents are properly named, numbered, and labeled according to company standards

– Conduct regular audits to ensure all documents are up-to-date and accurate

– Manage and maintain document control software and systems

– Train and educate team members on proper document management procedures

– Ensure compliance with company and industry standards for document management

– Provide timely and accurate document control reports to project managers and other stakeholders as needed

– Continuously seek opportunities to improve and streamline document control processes and procedures

Requirements:

– Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field

– Minimum of 3 years of experience in document control within the construction or engineering industry

– Proficient in document control software and systems, such as Procore, Microsoft SharePoint, or Aconex

– Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

– Strong understanding of document management processes and procedures

– Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing project needs

– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

– Strong problem-solving abilities

– Familiarity with construction and engineering terminology and documentation

– Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment

– Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat
