Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Human Resources Specialist to join our growing team at Brecks Group. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in all areas of human resources, with a focus on talent acquisition and employee development. As a Human Resources Specialist, you will play a critical role in creating and maintaining a positive work environment, ensuring compliance with all employment laws and regulations, and supporting the growth of our company through effective recruitment strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

– Oversee all aspects of the recruitment process, from job postings and candidate screening to interviews and job offers.

– Develop and implement strategies for attracting, hiring, and retaining top talent.

– Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and provide guidance on effective recruitment strategies.

– Conduct interviews and reference checks to assess candidate qualifications and fit with company culture.

– Manage the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.

– Develop and maintain relationships with universities, professional organizations, and other recruitment sources.

– Stay up-to-date on employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance in all recruitment and hiring activities.

– Facilitate employee development and training programs to support career growth and advancement within the company.

– Partner with managers to address employee relations issues and maintain a positive work environment.

– Utilize HR data and metrics to identify trends and make recommendations for continuous improvement.

– Assist with other HR projects and initiatives as needed.

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field.

– 3 years of experience in human resources, with a focus on recruitment and employee development.

– In-depth knowledge of employment laws and regulations.

– Experience with applicant tracking systems and recruitment software.

– Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.

– Demonstrated ability to build relationships and collaborate with all levels of employees.

– Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

– High level of discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality.

– SHRM or HRCI certification preferred.
