We are seeking a reliable and organized Delivery Driver to safely transport building materials and products to our customers. The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent time management skills, and a positive attitude. This individual will be responsible for ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
– Safely load and unload building materials and products onto the delivery truck
– Plan and organize delivery routes to ensure on-time and efficient deliveries
– Inspect and maintain the delivery vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition
– Communicate with customers to confirm delivery times and address any concerns or questions they may have
– Accurately record all deliveries and obtain necessary signatures and paperwork
– Handle cash and credit transactions for COD (Cash on Delivery) orders
– Complete any necessary paperwork for returned or damaged products
– Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving and operating the delivery vehicle
– Assist with warehouse duties as needed, including picking and packing orders and organizing inventory
Qualifications:
– High School Diploma or equivalent
– Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
– Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Delivery Driver
– Ability to lift and carry heavy materials (up to 50 lbs)
– Excellent time management and organizational skills
– Strong communication and customer service skills
– Experience handling cash and completing paperwork
– Familiarity with safe driving practices and traffic laws
