As a Logistics Associate at Brecks Group, you will play a pivotal role in our supply chain. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of products from our suppliers to our warehouses, retail stores, and ultimately, our customers. This position requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
– Process and track orders from our suppliers and ensure timely delivery to our warehouses and stores
– Manage inventory levels and assist with forecasting and planning for future orders
– Work closely with our suppliers and logistics partners to resolve any delivery issues or delays
– Monitor the transportation and distribution of products, ensuring that all shipments are delivered on time and in good condition
– Help to optimize transportation routes and costs by working with carriers, suppliers, and warehouses
– Prepare and maintain shipping documents and records
– Assist with inventory counts and audits as needed
– Ensure compliance with all shipping and safety regulations
– Continuously look for ways to improve processes and streamline operations to increase efficiency and reduce costs
Qualifications:
– High school diploma or equivalent, some college coursework or a degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred
– 2 years of experience in a logistics, supply chain, or inventory management role
– Strong understanding of supply chain processes and procedures
– Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
– Proficient in MS Office and experience with inventory management systems
– Ability to work independently and in a team environment
– Good physical condition, able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a warehouse setting
– Knowledge of transportation regulations and best practices is a plus
